Paul Wampler, HIS

Hearing Instrument Specialist

Paul Wampler is a Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist with nearly three years of experience in the hearing healthcare field. Originally from Decatur, Illinois, where he attended Richland Community College, Paul moved to Elmhurst in 2023. He began practicing in Crystal Lake, Illinois, in 2024 and was drawn to the profession by the unique opportunity to improve the quality of life of his patients.

What Paul loves most about helping people hear better is building lasting relationships with his patients and getting to know them as they progress through their hearing journey. He strives to provide compassionate, individualized care and works to ensure every patient feels heard, understood, and confident in their treatment every step of the way.

Outside of helping patients hear their best, Paul enjoys reading, going on nature walks with his children, and is an avid fan of pop culture, especially science fiction, fantasy, and superhero stories.

Laura Kruppe, HIS

Hearing Instrument Specialist

Laura Kruppe is a dedicated Hearing Instrument Specialist with over five years of experience in the field. Originally from Deerfield, IL, Laura relocated to Glen Ellyn, IL, in 2021. She earned her B.A. in Biology from Adrian College in 2012 and completed the Hearing Instrument Dispensing Program at the College of DuPage in 2019, the same year she began her career at the Hearing Lab.

Laura is passionate about providing exceptional care and service to her patients, emphasizing personal development and a patient-centered approach in all aspects of her work.

Outside of saving hearing lives, Laura loves spending time with her dog, Lou, and hanging out with her husband. Together, they enjoy playing pickleball and ping pong. Laura also enjoys hobbies like playing lacrosse, computer gaming, and cooking.
